A cnc break press is summed up as a “computer numerical control break press”. This is a machine tool for bending sheet and plate material more commonly known as sheet metal. In the 1970’s they came up with the cnc break press which means the bending is done by a computer. Previously it was the cn break press. Since the computer was invented this is now generated by a computer. The formula (numbers) are entered into the computer for the task and it is done.

This type of pressing is used to replace, and in some cases work in conjunction with, numerous manufacturers processes. Let’s use an example of a machine sewing a button on a shirt.
